I have just bought 7 hilly acres, 3 of which need mowing. My tractor will spend 90% of its life mowing and the other 10% will be spent dragging a box blade over the 1'000 ft. long driveway and helping drag trees out of the woods. Does the BX2200 sound like a good tractor? I currently have a John Deere LX188 (17hp liquid cooled lawn tractor), it runs great and was perfect for my old 1 acre lot, but now it is just not big enough. Thanks

Check out the "venturepro.com" web site for hillside mowing. Articulated, all-wheel drive tractors are quite stable, manevuerable and effective in this application. ....

Try out Steiner turf equipment also in Dalton Ohio, manufacturers of the the 25 year old turf tractor that will out perform any other tractor that size with about 30 different attachments that will hook up in less than 1 min. We have had steiners for the last fifteen years and they can't be beat. Hillside mowing is one of the steiners best jobs that can be done very easy and you feel safe. They also have powerbox rakes and terra rakes availableany many other attachments that you could use to do the job.I LOVE MY STEINER. ....

I love my BX, but it depends on too many factors in what is meant by a hilly property. (% grade of the inclines it would have to handle. Amount of time spent on the inclines. Need to turn while on the steeper inclines?). ....
